4 March 2019
Reff & Associates, member of the Deloitte Legal global network, opens for applications the third edition of LAWSOME, the accelerated training program specially designed for law students in their 3rd and 4th year who wish to pursue a career in business law. The program covers key topics in business law, from corporate M&A, real estate, banking, litigation, white collar crime, to employment, competition and insolvency.
The application is open until March 8, 2019, and a group of 30 students will be selected to enter the program. The participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from leading specialists of Reff & Associates and Deloitte Romania, who will host nine workshops during March 25 – April 11, 2019. Over the previous two years, a total of 100 students attended the program and some of them have been recruited for a full-time job of Junior Lawyer or for an internship with Reff & Associates.
“LAWSOME is a program complementary to the education system, adding the much-needed concrete side of this job and providing future graduates with a better understanding of what it means to be a business lawyer. It also provides an environment where law students can benefit from the personal and professional background put forward by my colleagues, leading experts in their field,” said Georgiana Singurel, Partner at Reff & Associates, member of Deloitte Legal network.
The students participating in the program will have access to Reff & Associates’ pool of resources, benefiting from the firm’s expertise, coaching and advise coming from its seasoned experts. Furthermore, for a more integrated experience, human resources specialists will be offering advice on how to best prepare for a job interview and highlight the students’ abilities.
