Călin is a Bucharest-based lawyer advising on Romanian real estate and construction matters, with over 10 years of experience in property acquisitions (share and asset deals), lease agreements, and regulatory compliance. He assists clients in complex and high-value real estate transactions, including legal due diligence, title verification, and the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation, on both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
He regularly advises on the regulatory aspects of real estate projects, covering permitting, development, and ongoing operational compliance, including complex multi-site portfolios across various industries such as retail, logistics, and office. Călin has developed particular expertise in lease agreements, assisting both landlords and tenants with structuring, drafting, and negotiation.
In addition to his legal practice, Călin plays a key role in the firm’s innovation initiatives. He played a leading role in the design and development of SecuRE, the firm’s proprietary regulatory compliance tool, and acts as project manager for its development, implementation, and client use. As one of the firm’s AI Champions, he is actively involved in the strategic integration of artificial intelligence into legal workflows and client services.
Călin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Babeș-Bolyai University and has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2015.
