Elena Iacuba is a Senior Associate within Dispute Resolution department, focusing on non-tax disputes. She is specialized in administrative, construction, public procurement, real estate and property litigation.
In the real estate field, Elena’s expertise focuses mainly on disputes concerning the issue, suspension, or cancellation of building permits, but also on disputes of a dual legal nature, at the intersection of administrative and civil law, such as those concerning the cancellation and suspension of zoning plans or decisions of public authorities responsible for urban planning. Elena has significant experience in property litigation, being involved in an important land resources project with a 99% success rate.
Elena also has a relevant contribution in the growth of our public procurement litigation filed, being involved in many disputes both before the bodies with administrative jurisdictional activity, as well as before the courts of justice, with highly appreciated results.
Her professional experience also includes litigation between professionals, civil cases, including corporate litigations and enforcement. Also, she was ranked in 2022 in The Legal 500 as a Recommended Lawyer in the energy field.
Currently, Elena is a PhD student, scientific researcher and associate assistant professor in Administrative Law at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.
