Business Breakfast: Guideline on competition law compliance – new regulations from the Competition Council
Reff & Associates is delighted to invite you to a business breakfast, organised on 21 December, starting 09:30, at Reff’s premises, 4-8 Nicolae Titulescu Road, East Entrance, 2nd Floor, District 1, Bucharest.
New compliance programs as well as existing ones will have to pass the test of “effective implementation” and “efficiency” in line with recently launched Guidelines on compliance with competition rules. We will discuss the Guidelines whereby the Competition Council explains in detail, for the first time, its view about the importance of compliance and benefits of actual prevention, encouraging the implementation of competition compliance programs.

Florentina is the partner coordinator of the competition law, employment law and insolvency law practices within Reff & Associates and is an attorney-at-law with an experience of over 14 years. She has assisted a large category of clients in dealing with day to day competition law compliance matters, implementation of competition law compliance programs, assistance during Competition Council investigations, obtaining clearance of economic concentrations, specialized competition law support during M&A transactions, state aid matters and competition law trainings.
Andrea Grigoras - Managing Associate, Attorney-at-law, Reff & Associates, member of Deloitte Legal
Andrea is Managing Associate within the competition law practice within Reff & Associates and is an attorney-at-law with an experience of over 9 years.
Combining knowledge of Romanian and European law with legal expertise, Andrea offers assistance regarding commercial law focusing on competition legislation. She has experience in assistance and representation in front of Competition Council and European Commission as regards economic concentration notifications as well as investigations initiated by the competition authority.
Andrea analyzed clauses with a potential anti-competitive effect included in various agreements. She ensures compliance advice for alignment to legal requirements in light of business specificities.
