Representative Actions Directive In Different Jurisdictions

May 23, 2024 | 14:00 EET

The Directive 2020/1828 on representative actions for the protection of the collective interests of consumers has already been transposed in many EU Member States and is in the process of being transposed in other countries. The Directive improves consumers’ access to justice whilst it also foresees appropriate safeguards to avoid abusive litigation.

Join Deloitte's experts at the webcast on Representative Actions Directive In Different Jurisdictions on May 23, starting at 14:00 to understand how the Directive might affect your organisation, as we'll look at some of the countries where the Directive has already been transposed – Romania, Spain, Italy and Germany, but also at one of the jurisdictions that served as model for this new EU system, the UK.

This webcast is part of the series looking at this type of litigation in different jurisdictions and will be of particular interest to legal counsels and in-house lawyers whose companies are present in several European jurisdictions and in the UK.
